By train
Take the train to Beer Sheva. Disembark the train at “Beer-Sheva North/University” station (this is
the first of two stops in Beer-Sheva). Upon exiting the station, turn right onto the “Mexico Bridge”
which leads to the Marcus Family Campus. (For on campus directions see map below). The train
journey takes about 55 minutes (from Tel Aviv).

By Car
From Tel-Aviv (the journey should take about 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on traffic)
If using WAZE to direct you to the Campus, enter the address as: Professor Khayim Khanani Street, Be’er
Sheva.
Toll free road:
Head south on the Ayalon Highway (Route #20), stay in the left lane.
When you see a sign for “Holon/Bat Yam” continue straight.
Merge onto Highway #4 to Ashdod.
Almost immediately after the Ashdod exit is the exit for Beer Sheva. You will connect to route #41.
Follow the signs to Beer-Sheva until you get to a T-junction (Gedera) where you will turn right onto
route #40.
Take route #40 all the way to Beer-Sheva. The entrance to the city is a very large four-way junction.

Continue straight and at the 5th traffic light (they are numbered) turn left.
You have reached the University Gate.
Via Road 6, a toll road:

Parking at Ben-Gurion Main Campus
If you are arriving at the Main Campus by private car, please contact your visit coordinator to arrange for a vehicle entrance and parking permit. The permits require vehicle details such as car model and make, color and license plate number, so be sure to have this information available.

To the Sede-Boqer Campus at Midreshet Ben-Gurion

Bus service is provided by the METROPOLINE Bus Company. Busses # 60 and # 64 are the most convenient, and come up to the main gate of Midreshet Ben-Gurion. D on not get off at Kibbutz Sede Boqer, Ask for the “THE MIDRASHA”. You may also take the # 65, but will then need to get off the bus at the intersection, adding a 12 minute walk to get to the main gate of the Midrashah. From the bus stop, walk through the Yellow gates, continuing straight to a “T” junction. Turn left and continue walking straight to ZIWR, left of the first roundabout.
By car
Take Route # 40 southward all the way to Telalim Junction.
Turn left toward Mizpe Ramon, turn right at the Sede Boqer Junction.
5-6 km (about 3 1⁄2 miles) ahead is the Sede-Boqer Campus at the Midreshet Ben-Gurion.
Avoid entering Kibbutz Sede Boqer! The campus and the kibbutz are close but have separate entrances. See map for directions at the institutes.
The distance from Tel-Aviv to Sede Boqer is 150 kilometers (93 miles) and driving time is approximately 2 hours. From the Marcus Family Campus in Beer-Sheva to the Sede-Boqer Campus at Midreshet Ben-Gurion
Upon exiting the campus, turn left on Rager Boulevard all the way to David Tuviyahu Street (2 1⁄2 kilometers (1 1⁄2 miles).
Turn left on David Tuviyahu Street (also labeled Eilat Street) and drive straight until you exit Beer- Sheva.
Drive straight for about 32 kilometers (20 miles) to Telalim Junction and then turn left toward Mizpe Ramon.
Turn right at Sede Boqer Junction.

The distance from Beer-Sheva to Sede Boqer is 53 kilometers (32 miles) and driving time is approximately 45 min.
As a satellite campus of the Ben-Gurion University is an INTERNATIONAL graduate center dedicated to WATER science. The ZIWR conduct interdisciplinary research and focus at three topics: Hydrology and Microbiology as well as Desalination & Water Treatment.

The ZIWR campus is surrounded by wild NATURE. Around the campus are numerous outdoor trails that lead to breathtaking viewpoints and lush springs. 30 minutes south of the campus is the Makhtesh Ramon, which is a unique geological crater.
